About Buchanan Family Child Care
BFCC is a licensed in-home child care in St. Mary’s Co, Maryland. We are conveniently located near Three Notch Rd and MD-4, just a short commute from NAS Pax River. We offer care for children ages 2-5 (pre-kindergarten). Meals and snacks are included with tuition.
We have a play-based learning philosophy with plenty of time outdoors. Children learn best through play, so our schedule reflects that. Arts, crafts, music and movement are also crucial parts of our day. A short daily “table time” is also included in the schedule to get children used to sitting to learn.
We serve breakfast, lunch and snacks daily. All meals and snacks meet USDA guidelines and are child-friendly. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
